1 lb mixed minced meat (beef, veal, pork)
2 tbs grated Pecorino Romano
2 thin slices fresh Pecorino Romano
1 clove chopped garlic
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1 tbs chopped parsley
A little flour
4 tbs extra virgin olive oil
1/2 glass white wine
Mix the minced meat together with the grated cheese, garlic, onion, parsley and a pinch of salt. Form into small meat balls no bigger than a walnut, roll them in flour and saut¨| in olive oil.
Add the wine and continue cooking over a low heat until sauce is reduced.
Place the slices of fresh cheese in an ovenproof dish, add the rest of the sauce. Place in a moderately heated oven for a few minutes until the Pecorino Romano cheese starts to melt. Serve immediately.
