My name is Alejandro Redondo, export manager of BODEGAS LA DEFENSA. We are Spanish winery located in Toledo (Castilla - La Mancha), founded in 1932, our appellation of origin are “D.O. La Mancha and D.O. Uclés”, producing 100.000 bottles a year. The vineyards are plant with typical varietals of our region, Tempranillo, Airen, Syrah, Macabeo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, many varietal available, etc…

The vines are managed on integrated agriculture principles, in total respect of the environment. The wine from each vineyard is put into separate tanks and blends are then constructed so as to produce wines which will best express their complexity and fruity aromas. The winery work is done with the utmost respect of the wine and the consumer's health. Our team has been trained to achieve high quality standards and we work toward constantly improving our know-how with the objective in mind of sustainable development. We operate within all the standard quality control systems currently applicable to the International wine industry.

We produce sweet and dry wines for any custom made wine requirements . Our production is in bulk, bottled and Bag In Box, with our brands and private labels.

Actually we are preparing the new campaign for vintage 2010 , and I would like to contact with you as importer of bulk wine , should be interesting to know exactly what are you looking for, what kind of wines are you demanding, our production is 15.000.000 kgs of Grapes per year, probably this year will be better than the last one.

Our bulk production power means that we can supply a large volume at very cheap prices . The main strength of our winery is that we can mix different varieties into one shipment. This mean you can keep your stock levels at a minimum which is great for cash flow and it will save you money… There is a excellent range of transport, flexi tank or steel deposit, by sea or road transport, from centre of Spain to everywhere and everyday.
