A powder produced from grinding of dried chillies. Chillies are the fruit of the capsicum plant. The colour of the chilli powder is red and the shape is fine to medium powder. Odour is aromatically strong and the taste is characteristic, strong and spicy. It shall be free from musty odour and rancidity.
