from cinnamon have insulin-enhancing biological activity in the in vitro 

assay measuring the insulin-dependent effects on glucose  metabolism and 

also function as antioxidants. Cinnamaldehyde is the main constituent 

of oils of  cassia, cinnamon barks and roots.
