Raisins are very sweet due to their high concentration in sugar. The sultana raisins are most commonly eaten raw as snacks and also used in baking fruit cakes for occasions. Apart from cakes it is also used to make wine. The wine made from raisins (grapes) is very sweet and is normally made during the season of Christmas.
