Jinta County currently has 690,000 acres of cultivated land, of which pepper planting area
has reached 40,000 acres (including 10,000 acres of planting base and 6,000 acres of seedling transplanting). At present, the
total output of fresh peppers reaches more than 120,000 tons (equivalent to 20,000 tons of dried peppers). The main varieties are:
American Red (hot unit is 15000-25000shu); the varieties we plant and promote are: Xinnong chili , Cindychili , Jindu chili,
Daming Line Pepper. The output of these varieties of fresh pepper per mu is stable at 3 tons (500 kg of dry pepper per mu), the
color value is about 13.5-18.5, and the hot unit is 11000-50000shu. The quality and resource advantages of pepper are remarkable.
According to the test, the pigment content of mature dry peppers produced in the local area is as high as 10-15%.
