Baimudan white tea belongs to the category of White Tea.In the process of withering, it has obtained its special quality like two leaves holding one bud,natural shape with dark or deep green color.The whole leaf sheet is fat and tender like ripples.The back of leaf is covered with fine silvery hairs. The edge of leaf slightly curls to the back. The leaf with soft red vein linking to the bud, after soaked into the water,it appears like a blossomy peony, and it is so called White Peony.
