Red Fuji Apples usually become ripe in early October. The fruit is middle to large in size and is round in shape. The fruit looks beautiful with 65-- 85% of the surface in red color. The fruit has smooth surface, thick wax layer, thin peel, creamy color pulp, rich juice, contains much fruit powder, and is sweet with a little bit taste of sour. It smells fragrant and tastes crispy. It contains 15.3-16.0% of dissoluble solid content and 0.2-0.4% of acid. The hardness of the fruit is 8.60-10.89 kg/cm2. The fruits are packed with plastic/ foam/paper trays or foam mesh bags in paper boxes with pretty printings. They are transported in cold-storage containers with temperature set at Zero centigrade, and ventilation at 15CBM/H, which guarantees the freshness of apples to the maximum extent during transportation.
