Description:
Evergreen trees, up to 12 meters, diameter 80 cm, bark gray or dark gray, rough and cracked. Twigs olive green, light brown equatorial be pubescent, old branches stout, with dot lenticels. Thick leathery leaves, ovate, ovate-oblong, 10 (14) -20 (32) cm wide and 5 (7) -10 (20) cm, apex obtuse, rarely emarginate, base wide circle, sometimes slightly cordate, margin undulate, early foliage is curly hair, later glabrous, midrib flat or concave leaf residue hairy, dorsal densely interwoven long hair and white powder, left after only hairy on veins ; lateral veins 11-16 on each side strip, reticulate veins dense, biconvex dry; petiole 5-7 (10) cm, early densely pubescent; petiole stipule scars of almost the entire length. Pedicel erect, 3-4 cm long, fragrant flowers, cup-shaped, diameter of 15-20 cm; tepals 9-10, the outer three light green, oblong, 6-8 (10) cm wide 2- 3 (4) cm, reflexed outward, within two milky white, obovate-spatulate, 8-11 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm wide, narrower inner wheel; stamens about 210, 1.8-2.5 cm long two drugs chambers separated anther protruding into a sharp triangular tip; gynoecium oval, top tip, 3-4 cm long, with about 100 pistil, the fine yellow pubescent. Aggregate fruit ovate-oblong shape, long 9-15 (20) cm, narrowly ellipsoid follicles, back stitching two full crack, is fine yellow pubescent, the top edge of the outer bend. Flowering from April to June, the fruit of August to October.
