As we all know, vacuum packaging is a a method of packaging that removes air from the package prior to sealing. It is used to extend the shelf life of food and other products by the method of preventing air (oxygen) out of the packaging. Therefore, the seal integrity is essential factor of vacuum packaging. Labthink MFY-01 Seal Integrity Tester can be used for seal integrity test for vacuum packaging.
This Seal Integrity Tester conforms to ASTM D3078 (Bubble Emission Method). Firstly, submerge the vacuum pacakging in the water with the vacuum chamber, and then evacuate the vacuum chamber to make its pressure lower than that in vacuum packages, the vacuum packaging will expand due to pressure difference, if the vacuum packaging is sealed and integrity, you won't find anything, otherwise, there will be prograssive bubble from the packaging.
Besides Vacuum Packaging, This Seal Integrity Tester is also applicable to leak test of drugs, medical instruments, daily chemical products, cars, electronic components, stationeries and other industrial products.
