The husk is the outer part, or shell of the vanilla pod.

Usage:
The husks are used to infuse the vanilla flavour into your dishes by cooking the husk in the liquid of the dish. Can also be used as garnish. Use the dried husks as a refresher in the glove compartment of your car or in your linen cupboard or as a lovely aroma in the sugar receptacle. Vanilla helps to keep flour fresh, so add a couple of husks to your flour.

Storage:
If completely dried, vanilla husks will last up to 12 months on the shelve.
Keep the husks in a wax-paper lined box or in a glass jar.

Shelve Life:
Up to 12 months.
