Korea Government has nominated the KOREA PACK as the "Global Top Exhibition", it is the first award in the packaging industry.
KOREA PACK has been selected in 2014 “Global Top Exhibition” including three other exhibitions, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy(Minister Yoon Sang-jick) announced on January 7, 2014.
"Global Top Exhibition" is an exhibition development projects that Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy has pushed since 2009 in order to boost the global competitiveness of the domestic exhibitions.
This “Global Top Exhibition” has been chosen from exhibitions consisting of more than 30,000㎡of exhibition space, more than 400 exhibitors, more than 100 overseas exhibitors, and more than 1,650 overseas buyers. The top four “Global Top Exhibition” will be supported for all directions in the export market with the support of the government, such as the cost of invited overseas buyers.
In particular, it is very meaningful awards because KOREA PACK 2014 unifies with SEOUL PACK(Seoul Int’l Packaging Show) organized by KPMA(Korea Packaging Machinery Association) so far to be held separately.

We will strive to raise the international competitiveness of the Korea packaging industry through the successful holding of KOREA PACK on 2014”, Chairman of KPMA(Korea Packaging Machinery Association), Mr. Lee Jong Woo said
Currently, including packaging company of all 25 countries(China, Japan, EU, the United States, etc.), KOREA PACK will be the largest packaging trade show in Asia. KOREA PACK is expanded to 900 companies, 3,200 booths and plans to invite 2,000 overseas buyers from 60 countries.
On the other hand, Representative of Kyungyon Exhibition Corp., Mr. Kim Young-Soo announced the master plan which set a goal of using more than 100,000㎡ of exhibition space by 2018 in order to be on a par with global brand exhibitions - INTERPACK in Germany, EMBALLAGE in France, and PACK EXPO in United States.
For this reason, show organizer’s policy is to foster KOREA PACK as visitor-oriented the trade exhibition especially in the area of packaging, through the expansion of items such as before and after the process technology and products in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry market which more than 90% of the packaging industry.
