General Information

World Coffee Leaders Forum is the first global coffee forum officially supported by the International Coffee Organization(ICO). As a major highlight and a concurrent event of Cafe Show, 「World Coffee Leaders Forum」 brings together about 1,200 delegates from all 35 countries, to examine and discuss topics of the World and Asian Coffee Industry. The major theme for 2014 is called ‘Paradigm Shifts in Coffee Industry and its Countermeasures’, since world coffee industry is undergoing several changes. Global coffee professionals and expertise from all over the world will gather up to discuss about the current problems and solutions to social, environmental, economical aspects of Korea and Asia coffee industry. During the 2nd edition last year, 30 speakers from 12 countries attended to provide valuable insights of coffee industry, including Mr. Hidetaka Hayashi(President) from Hayashi Coffee Institute, David Veal(Executive Director) of Specialty Coffee Association and Mr. Sugumar Raman(Director) of FLO-CERT GmbH. The executive director of International Coffee Organization (ICO), Mr. Robério Oliveira Silva has opened the event with his key note speech, “Global Coffee Market Issues and Trends”.
