In 2008, Peru had another record-breaking year, with 9.8% GDP growth (higher than China) and $60 billion in trade. Inflation in 2008 surged to 5.8% due to the global spike in food and oil prices, but the subsequent global financial crisis has brought inflation to around 0% in January-February 2009.
Expo Pesca 2009 is the fair special designed to present and to sell new products to the Fishery and Aquaculture sectors.
