A RENEWED EVENT
FOODAPEST has been the market leading programme of Hungarian food industry since 1992 and has gained outstanding significance in the Central and Eastern European Region.
In line with the changes in market demand, as of 2010 HUNGEXPO C.Co.Ltd. will organise its food industrial exhibitions along a new concept: the purpose of simultaneous organisation with the UKBA exhibition is to create a large-scale programme covering the entire spectrum of food industry, also significant in terms of gastronomy, with focus on events.

In addition to further strengthening its professional edge and international scope, the most significant attraction of FOODAPEST will be its partial opening to consumers as from 2010. The aim is to establish direct relationship with end users, the most significant factor in turnover increase.

A TOP GASTRONOMY PROGRAMME - BOCUSE d'or Hungary
In 2010 a large-scale event of major significance in gastronomy will be added to the exhibition. The prestigious auxiliary event of the Lyon SIRHA exhibition, the most prestigious competition of cooks, the Bocuse d'Or will be hosted by FOODAPEST for the very first time. Young cooks will compete at this large-scale gastronomic event for two days at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Centre.
