Xia Guan 503 Tuo Cha has a long history. It first put into production in 1950 after the new China. At that time, Chinese government has just liberated Yunnan and took control of the old Kandding tea factory and renamed it as Xiaguan Tea Factory.
In honor of the new government, the Xiaguan tea factory launched a new Tuo Cha, named it as 503 Tuo Cha. However, it put a stop on the production due to culture revelution.
Now, in response to market need, Xiaguan factory re-produces this tea. This tea carries unique and tradtional Xiaguan flavor, light smoky aroma, strong & well-rounded taste. This tea is good for long term storage, which will change a lot in its astrigency.
