These gas delivery devices can add gas to a compatible liquid stream or remove dissolved gas and bubbles from a compatible liquid stream. The use of hollow fiber membrane technology can help facilities around the world improve operating performance and protect product quality. For more than 20 years, degassing membrane technology has replaced vacuum towers, forced ventilation deaerators and oxygen scavengers all over the world.
Liqui-Cel membrane contactors are used to effectively remove gas from liquids or add gas to liquids. The typical application is to remove O2 and CO2. In addition, the membrane contactor can also be used to control other dissolved gases, such as adding or removing carbon dioxide, nitriding, gas humidification, and VOC removal.
