BODEGAS Y DESTILERIAS LEHMANN S.A. elaborates absinthe thanks to the old recipes that, asmuch Joan Curto as his son Ismael, created in the origin of our family owneddistillery in 1870.
Withwormwood and licorice the sole ingredients of absinth, although many firmsinclude star anise- we obtain a fine and tasty spirit, very elegant to thepalate.
ABSINTALEHMANN includes a high content of thujone, very close to the maximum normallevel (10mg), characteristic that is very attractive for the consumers who wantto taste the most similar absinthe to the one before the ban (beginning of 20thcentury).

Even moresimilar to the one drunk by Picasso, Hemingway, Baudelaire, Toulouse Lautrec,Manet... we have investigated how to create an extra thujone absinth andfinally we have succeed: with 35 mg/l of thujone, expresses the purest and mostdesired taste of the ancient absinth.
Our last creation is Absinta Antiqua Formula 1895 , an extremely digestive absinth thanks to its great concentration ofThujon. Inspired by the ancestral formula of the Greek civilization, who usedthe Artemisa Absinthium as a remedy for stomach aches. It is very appropriateto taste it neat or on the rocks (42% Alc/vol).
