Dried agarwood leaves or also known as Eaglewood,Jin-koh,Chen-Xiang/Hsiang have been used for generations by forest dwellers as after dinner tea for detoxification. Many claimed it has a positive general wellness on the body and mind. Amongst others, it is used in eastern medicine to relieve asthma and pain, reduce sugar level in diabetics and increase sexual prowess . Recent scientific studies showed the leaves have antioxidant properties with strong free radical scavenging activity. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals responsible for the development of various diseases such as cancer and heart diseases.
