Basing on the latest scientific research in the field of nutrition and immunology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the developments of Yaroslavl State Testing Laboratory of Dairy Feedstock and Products within the framework of the national project «Healthy Nutrition», the company «ALEV» has created a new line of bioproducts «Albio».
The products «Albio» refer to pre/probiotics. Probiotics are food products into which living beneficial bacteria are specially added. These bacteria must be present in human's intestines in a quantity sufficient for normalizing digestion and preventing function disorders of the organism. These bacteria are called probiotical. Lactic bacteria, bifidobacteria and many other bacteria refer to such beneficial bacteria. Decrease in quantity of beneficial lactic bacteria and bifidobacteria leads to disbalance in the organism — to dysbacteriosis, which can become the reason of various sorts of disorders, down to the development of diseases.
Prebiotics are products that contain specially added substances promoting propagation of beneficial probiotic bacteria or increase in their activity. In other words, prebiotics are a kind of «food» for probiotic bacteria. The products «Albio» contain a prebiotical food additive.
