Andrut is a kind of unique sweet Wafer.
ANDRUT is a product which production runs for several decades with the same technology. Machines for baking - so called "Irons" are now warmed up to a certain temperature with gas or electric current. In earlier years these irons were heated with charcoal or in coal furnaces. Time needed for baking is very short, in which the andrut is being baked and dried.
ANDRUT is believed to be almost a handicraft. Within one industrial plant, in which the same machines are used and with maintenance of technological regime, repeatability in the appearance of the final product is difficult to obtain. Manual batch - an absolute lack of automatation - a direct impact of confectioner on the course of pastry production - makes andrut a specific and unique product. Every wafer is different and unique, but keeps common features.
