- With us take a tasty applepure always start with the good Fruit. And the secret of a good fruit lies in the crop, the minerality, the micro- climatic conditions , aging and especially in the hand-picked process , sorting and treatment to finished apple pure .

- Therefore Østergaard orchard and cider mill are included in a symbiotic relationship and is established in an area , we in the family have carefully selected . We are responsible for the entire process. Our own fruit and applepure is therefore of exquisite quality, a quality that are systematicall striven through three generations in the Hemming Hansen family.

- The Cider-mill a fully modern semi-automatic production facilities. And the very fact that the cider-mills semi-automatic , means that a large part of the craft-related processes is manhandled, especialy the gentle part of the processing of the fruit requires skilled hands to make the quality assurance .

- Production is planned as simple as possible so that the fruit that has been stored in the cooling facility , only is washed and pressed into a applepure liquid and pumped directly into the settling tanks . There are no ongoing interim stages in the production process that can destroy the molecular structure and thereby the taste . After clarification process , which in stainless steel tanks take more than 24 hours, the applepure is pasteurized and filled into bottles, where its taken back to the cooling facillity.

- The whole Cider mill is designed with a sustainable philosophy, and operated as CO2 neutral as possible. Among the enisitives put in place was its own wind turbine established 2010 , which provide a great part of covering the electricity consumption throughout Østergaard Orchard & Cider-mill
