Detailed introduction to Australian Live Coral Trout:
Australia has the only globally sustainable Live Coral Trout Fishery located on the Great Barrier Reef. There are 1215 tonnes of Coral Trout caught each year, this amount is known as the Total Allowable Catch (TAC). The TAC is based on ecological sustainable growth and is managed by the Queensland Dept. of Primary Industries & Fisheries. Austrailian Coral Trout is the cleanest and hardiest wild caught Coral Trout in the world.
We own approximately 200 tonnes or 16.5% of the annual TAC. We are able to Supply 200-400 tonnes of Live Coral Trout per annum and are looking for a joint venture partner, an investor or an end user to progress our business in mainland China.
We have been selling approximately 300 tonnes per annum into mainland China for the past 4 years.
