The Avocado, which is native to the tropics and subtropics, is a rich fruit known for its lush, buttery texture and mild, faintly nut-like flavour.
The flesh of Avocados is hard and deep green near the skin when harvested. The two most widely marketed avocado varieties are the pebbly textured, almost black Hass and the green Fuerte, which has a thin, smooth skin, we mainly deal with the Fuerta type of Avocado, locally known as ‘jumbo’, which is grown at our farms and with our partnership farms within our country.
