The Yerba mate derives from a bush which is grown in the northeast region of the country, in the
Provinces of Misiones and Corrientes, blessed with Acid soil and a warm and humid weather.
Our product is grown in the best yerba plantations and it is then carefully selected and subject to
drying, storing and grinding processes that, in addition to strict quality controls, allow us to achieve
yerbas with a distinct and unique body, aroma and taste to each of the different brands.
Bárbara Soft Yerba Mate Tea
For the special elaboration of this yerba, carefully selected and classified types of soft yerba or
field yerba (yerba de campo)are used. A long storing plus a strict quality control to achieve a
unique balance after its grinding, enable us to obtain an excellent product with a soft and pleasant
taste.
Bárbara Traditional Yerba Mate
More intense yerba is used to elaborate this traditional product, thus obtaining a balanced
mate with a medium taste, for those who prefer to have a good mate with more body.
This special characterisitc is given not only by a mix of field yerba and yerba de monte
(woodland yerba), but also by the good grinding and storing.
