Baron de Veysin is RED WINE located in Cote de Bourg appellation, area close to Bordeaux.
Côtes de Bourg
Vineyard: The AOC Côtes de Bourg , was created in 1936 for red and white wines.
In 1945 it was extends over fifteen municipalities located on the hillsides overlooking the Dordogne and Gironde.
The 4000 hectares of vines give majority red wine and some whites wines.
Grape varieties:
- 60% of Merlot that brings the finesse of the test and a very nice tint,
- 35 % of Cabernet Sauvignon bringing the delicacy aromatic and framing ,
- 5% of Malbec that gives the tannicside of the wine and the possibility to aging .
Nose: Very nice nose of cassis, blackberry, Raspberry with delicate notes of cedar and sweet spices.
Taste: Full-bodied , with rich and harmonious tannins , with a n intense fi nal .
Ideal serving temperature : Between 16 ° C and 18 ° C
Association dishes: Duck , Chicken black mushrooms , Red meat .
