A wide variety of beans are grown in Thailand. For several hundreds of years, people in Asia have been eating a diet rich in beans known for its low cholesterol and fats. Some take them as health foods.
There are three stages of development based on the maturity of the bean.
The first stage is when the beans are immature and the beans or seeds and the pod or husk are young and tender. This is the stage when the beans and pods are both eaten by cooking.
