State in English and Arabic on:

1) All outer carton labels and outer wraps (bags);

2) All inner labels on primal cuts, bulk packs, layer packs etc (inner labels can be an approved type of insert or pre-printed on the plastic bag/wrap);

3) A label inside the outer wrap on all bagged carcases. The following information:

• Product description written out in full. For example: "Bone-in Mutton Leg"

• Net weight (metric).
• Refrigeration and Storage Statement.
• Company name and address (packer)
• Importer name and address
• Slaughter date, Production date, Expiry Date.
• Country of Origin.
• Name of certifying Islamic organisation
• Halal stamp and name of Islamic organisation. The statement "slaughtered according to Islamic Shar'ia".
