| Northern I.P.A.-A strong ale originally exported to India for thirsty British soldiers. Its extra alcohol content and healthy dosage of hops preserved the brew on its long sea journey. Although this beer was brewed for travel it quickly became a favorite of pub goers in England proper. A great beer if you want something more substantial than a pale ale.The kit includes: 6 lbs. Gold malt extract, 3.3 lbs. Amber malt extract, 2 oz. Cascade bittering hops, 1 oz. Willamette aroma hops, 1 oz. BC Goldings aroma hops, 1/2 lb. Crystal 50°L, 1/2 lb. Toated Malt, yeast and priming sugar. | |
