 Beet pulp is a waste of the food industry after processing beet roots in the sugar production process. It is supplied to farms as a highly concentrated animal feed. Granulated dry pulp is beneficial for livestock breeders for several reasons:

- has a beneficial effect on the productivity of cattle
- rich in useful trace elements
- low price
- natural composition
- environmental friendliness
Pulp replaces half of oats or barley in the diet of cattle. In terms of nutritional value, it is close to wheat bran and comparable to corn silage. In combination with mixed feed, dry beet pulp is easily absorbed by animals, stimulates weight gain of livestock, increases the volume of milk produced by cows.

The positive characteristics also include:
Taste. Cattle are happy to eat processed beet products;
Convenience of storage and transportation. Pellets are light enough in weight, do not spoil for several months, do not require special storage conditions in summer and winter, do not attract rodents;
Payback. Due to the low price, the cost of buying feed is reduced, and the productivity of livestock is also increasing. Together, this significantly increases the profitability of the farm (in cases with cattle up to 25%, with pigs - up to 40%);
Nutritional value. High content of trace elements, vitamins and other substances necessary for a full-fledged diet of animals.
Beet pulp production takes place from August to February, with the maximum production occurring in the period October-November. After granulation, the pulp is stored in bulk or in packages for up to 9 months, which allows you to make long-term stocks of feed for cattle. Dry beet pulp is transported in bulk in grain wagons and by road.

Beet pulp in granular form is used for feeding cows, pigs, horses, sheep, goats, as well as young animals. To add it to the diet, it is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3 or used as an additive to compound feeds within 10%.
