La Bella di Cerignola S.C.ar.l.
La Bella di Cerignola Soc. Coop. a r.l." was established in 1993 thanks to the determination and financial commitment of some farmers who were amongst the largest producers of Bella di Cerignola variety olives, the largest table olive existing on the market. Today, almost all the main producers have joined the Cooperative, now making it the point of reference for the whole Italian eating olive sector.
The Cooperative has always been committed to exploiting the product by:
- controlling the field production;
- controlling the conferred product;
- controlling the transformation phase chemical-bacteriological analysis;
- studying the image of the company product;
- company communication.
Products
The Bella di Cerignola olive is widespread mainly in the Municipality of Cerignola and less in some surrounding municipalities, within the great southern Italian plains area called "Tavoliere delle Puglie". It is very famous for its size, beauty, the volume and consistency of the flesh; it is processed both as green and black olives.
