Goji has nineteen amino acids and contains all nine essential amino acids: Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan and Valine. These are very essential to proper body functions. Goji has higher levels of vitamin C than oranges and has more protein than whole wheat.
