Assena - Blended Boutique Red Wine from Bulgaria

 

Made according to special technology, jointly developed with a Swedish company from Stockholm. These Grapes-p1.html" target='_blank'>Grapes are produced from specially selected vines in appropriate micro-areas (8-10 acres). We control all processing and manipulations of the vineyards. The so called green pruning is performed in the summer, which ensures 500 kg maximum crop per decare. Grapes are picked at a minimum of 20% sugar content.

The grapes are picked manually and with a strict selection.

The wine matures  from 12 to 15 months in Barik type oak casks. This wine is bottled without any processing. Matures for another 3 months in the bottle.

Color and taste:   This wine is characterized by consistent ruby colour , intensive aroma , which is a combination between fruity aroma and a nuance of oak , full body , good phenol concentration, mild and harmonious . This wine has long life in a bottle and is suitable for collectors.
It's suitable to be served with red meat dishes, game and spicy cheese at temperature 17-19°C.
