| IN THE CELLAR |
This Cape Ruby Port is a blend of older barrel matured and a younger Port made from Classic Port varieties grown in the Wellington area. grapes were harvested together, crushed and destemmed and fermented in 3-ton bins. When the right sugar levels were obtained, the fermenting grapes were fortified with 3-year-old BRANDY Spirits from the KWV. The fortified grapes were macerated for 3 weeks where after it was pressed. After maturation the vintages were blended together stabilized and bottled in 2006. VARIETAL MAKE-UP: 100% South African |
