This naturally retted fibre is rich in colour, it's strength and texture stays intact because of our qualitative processes.
Bristle coir fibre is the longest and strongest variety of coir fibre. It is made from naturally retted husks using a defibring machine. Retting is done by soaking the husks in natural lagoons for around six months. This loosens the fibre naturally and the strength of the fibre remains intact. This fibre is used for the finest and most high-end applications of coir fibre due to its length, strength and the ease of combing them into uniform ties.
The fibre derives its name from its most common application as bristles in brush making. The possibilities of using this fibre are endless and limited to human creativity.
