This regional red dry wine, having unique style and high quality is produced from selected grapes, grown only along the Struma river. It aged 12 months in French oak barrels.
Ruen is a unique Bulgarian grapes variety with its own character and great potential, created through cross-breeding of Wide-leaved vine of Melnik and Cabernet Souvignon.
The wine has deep, dark red ruby color and its aroma is rich and multi-layered, dominated by blueberries and black brambles, dried blue plums and raisins, having also nuances of chocolate.The taste of this wine is fruity and velvet and its aftertaste is long and attractive.
It is suitable to be served at temperature 16-18°C.
