Detailed introduction to Calvados Aoc 41% 70 Cl Farm of Ponctey:
There are 9 cider-apple varities in our orchard in Normandy (France) ; most of the apple production is used by Calvados industry but we also produce a small quantity of high quality farm products: pure juice cider, Calvados AOC and Pommel of Normandy AOC.
Our Calvados is farm product (= exclusively made with our apples, no water adding, less than 750 l/t, at least 4 months between pressing and distillation, aged and bottled at farm).
Our Calvados is naturally coloured by oak (not by caramel or wood extract).
