NLSG denotes Next Lower Size Grade.
NLG denotes Next Lower Grade.

Packing will be in 2 x 25 lbs (2 x 11.340 kgs.) nett flexible pouches. After filling the cashew kernels, pouches are vacuumised and carbon dioxide and nitrogen gases in appropriate ratio are infused to ward off any possible quality problem and to retain the freshness of the kernels. Two such flexipacks constitute a carton i.e. one carton contains 50 lbs (22.68 kgs). Normally 700 cartons are stuffed into one 20' container. The weight details of such a container are 35,882 lbs/16,450 kgs gross and 35,000 lbs/15,896 kgs nett. 

Kernels shall be completely free from infestation, insect damage, mould, rancidity, adhering test and objectionable extraneous matter. Scraped and partially shrivelled kernels are also permitted provided such scraping/shrivelling does not affect the characteristic shape. 

If required, we will obtain a Phytosanitary Certificate from PPQ Department, in which it will be specifically mentioned that the goods are free from Khapra Beetle (Trogoderma Granarium). The container number is mentioned in the Phytosanitary Certificate. Containers are fumigated before and after stuffing and certificates are provided. 

Cashew Nut Kernels, however, are not fumigated before packing but are subjected to Heat (Borma) Treatment prior to packing. We provide a Certificate to our customer mentioning the duration and temperature of the final Borma Treatment. We also provide a Container Cleanliness Declaration and Packing Declaration.
