Casillero del Diablo got its name over 120 years ago from a legend created by the winery's founder - Don Melchor. When Don noticed that some of his finest Concha Y Toro wines were missing, he spread the rumour amongst villagers that a devil lived in his cellar. Since then the wine theives remain deterred.
We think this is one of the finest Cabernet wines we have ever tried, and is the perfect choice to accompany red meats, herby dishes and mature cheeses. With a smooth, full-bodied taste, it has cassis and black cherry flavours, complemented by hints of coffee and dark chocolate.
