  Refined Castor Oil is a highly purified version of naturally derived castor oil, which has a high degree of functionality, making it an extremely useful excipient. However, this increased functionality makes the molecule more susceptible to breakdown from oxidative stresses, such as polar impurities.  Castor Oil to remove these oxidative stresses, without altering the structure of the molecule. Super Refined Castor Oil is suitable for use in IV injections, ophthalmic emulsions, oral capsules and tablets and topical dosages and has a required HLB of 14.
