Specification : Fresh Cavendish Banana
1/ Apperance :Fruits in the branches are hard, clean, wholesome, healthy,
developed, fine, without flowers left, have well-defined ribbed sides. The crown is green, its cuts are smooth, even, healthy, not over dried.
2/ Maturity: Fruits are of the picking maturity. The flesh is thick, white with the greenish skin difficult to detach. In case of cutting the fruit the lacteal fluid is easy to bleed out.
3/ Size :
Biggest cross diameter – 3,00 - 4,00 cm;
minimum length – 17,00 cm;
Amount of fruit in the branch 4 -9;
Amount of branches in one packing unit 14 -18 pcs.
Fruits with defects in excess to the above limits with:
no more than 5% of fruit with defected diameter of 0,5 cm.
no more than 5% of fruit with defected length of 1 cm.
Outward damages of the skin, without hurting the flesh, either mechanical or caused by pests,
should not exceed the area of 2x2 cm on one fruit.
Matured fruits with the yellow skin ARE NOT ALLOWED.
