Tips
Temperature test when frying
Add a small ball of dough into the oil, the ball should sink to the bottom, stay there for 10 to 15 seconds and then rise to the surface. If the ball rises before 10 seconds of being at the bottom, the oil is too hot, if it doesn’t rise, the oil is still not hot enough. Once the oil is ready, make the buñuelos one by one and place them in the hot oil. Leave enough space for them to grow and turn.
When they become golden in color (approximately 10 to 12 minutes), pick them out and place them on paper towels.
