Information about the Champagne and the Champagne farm:

Since 1871, the Pernet family has cultivated its vineyards in Vertus following the greatest Champagne traditions. The firm’s vineyards spread across the Côte des Blancs, classed as premier and grand cru. With 9.5 acres of vineyards, Pernet & Pernet is the largest individual member of the ‘Union Champagne’ cooperative. The house has perfected its Champagne making process following the traditional ‘Methode de Champagnoise’ and Pernet & Pernet cuvees are mad e only from Chardonnay Grapes of grand cru and premier pru quality; producing a refined, elegant, fresh and smooth ‘Blanc de Blancs’ Champagne.

 

Previous Pernet family generations chose to sell all the harvested grapes to Moët & Chandon. Moët used the high quality grapes for making their prestigious Dom Perignon Champagne. Luckily, the latest generation decided to revitalize the exclusive family label; In 2001, they started bottling the grapes themselves again under the Pernet & Pernet label.

Brut Blanc de Blancs

 

The result of painstaking blending of a single grape variety, Chardonnay. This Champagne is distinguished by its freshness, fine foam and delicate bouquet of white flowers. It is ideal for every occasion and is highly appreciated as an aperitif.

 

Shining color with green reflections, fine and persisting mousse, delicate smell of white flowers. Taste initially fresh and blossom, with lime and may tree aromatics. A wine defined by freshness, typical Chardonnay.

 

•          Grape: 100% Chardonnay

•          Alcohol percentage: 12.5%

•          Available in bottle (750 ml),

            half bottle (375 ml) and Magnum (1500 ml)

 

 

Brut Rosé

 

This Champagne is produced from equal quantities of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It strikes a balance that will win you over immediately with its beautiful salmon pink colour, its nose of red fruits and its crisp taste, which leave no-one indifferent. It is a delight as an aperitif or with meals.

 

Color salmon pink, fine and persisting mousse. Delicate smell of little red fruits (raspberry). Genuine and fruity taste, with a creamy finish. Very attractive as appetizer and in cocktails.
