Terroir & Vinification:

The estate cultivates 43 hectares with old vine vineyards in the area
south of the mountain chain of Albères. The ground is made of dry and
rocky clay and calcareous soil, which perfectly corresponds to the vines’
requirements. The harvest is done partly manually. The traditional vinifcation
follows a twelve month aging in new oak barrels.

 

Dégustation:

Grape varieties are Syrah 40%, Grenache 30%, Carignan 30% A brilliant
ruby red colour with amber hues. Flavours of ripe red fruits, candied fruit
and vanilla accompanied by a full-bodied and fruity palate with fine, elgant
tannins and a long-lasting finish. Perfect at around 18°C with game,
stews, legs of lamb and desserts. Serves also well with red summer fruits.
