0900 Ziraat (Napolyon) -which has long warehouse life and is hard-fleshed, aromatic and juicy- is the main export sweet cherry variety of Turkey. Napolyon is produced all over Turkey; the harvest starts, in mid-May, in Izmir (Kemalpasa), Denizli (Honaz) and in June and July carries on in Afyon, Burdur, Isparta, Salihli and Konya. Natural resources in the country and the hot and dry summer and cold winter give 0900 Ziraat its high qualities. Production of 0900 Ziraat meets the European supermarkets standards, HACCP and EUREPGAP.
