Area: Colli Fiorentini Chianti is an Italian RED WINE well known and appreciated throughout the world. The name Chianti today identifies a geographical area (mainly hills) of central Tuscany, characterised by different geological, physical and climatic conditions, between the provinces of Florence and Siena. Grapes: Sangiovese, 75-100%; up to 10% of Canaiolo nero; Trebbiano bianco and Malvasia del Chianti up to 10%; up to 10% of other wine grapes recommended and acknowledged by the administrative department of the area of production. Production area: Delimitated territory in the provinces of Arezzo, Florence, Pisa, Pistoia and Siena. SENSORY PROFILE COLOUR: beautifully intense lively ruby red, evolving to garnet with ageing. AROMA: fine, persistent, reminiscent of wild berries, evolving towards spicy notes with ageing. TASTE: dry, good structure; sapid, cheerful, supple, a young and well balanced wine. With ageing it will become softer and velvety. OUR NOTES AND FOOD MATCHING This Wine has strong character and personality; the grape is harvested traditionally with limited production, transformed with skilful winemaking techniques, creating a product rich in floral and Fruit scents, along with taste and variety. We recommend it with “Pasta al sugo”, Roasted and grilled meat as “Alla Fiorentina” Steak style. Enjoy with friends. Serving temperature: 16-18°C
