Quality Chilean oranges available for export between June and early October
Aozora works closely with our sister company Cruxagri to supply top quality Chilean produce into Asia.
Cruxagri is based in Santiago, Chile, and handles all procurement, inspection and shipping of our Chilean produce. Cruxagri staff all speak fluent Spanish and English, and have over 15 years experience in exporting fresh produce around the world.
Aozora began shipping citrus from Chile to Asia in 2007. Chile as a country exports around 1.8 million cases (17.2 kg) of oranges and 5.5 million cases of Clementines each year. The Asian region takes around 45% of this exported volume.
Chilean citrus is becoming increasingly popular in Japan and Korea as an alternative to US supply. With Free Trade Agreements either established or pending, export volumes continue to increase year on year into these markets.
