Dark cherry to purple red homogenous powder with tart fruit taste. Slight wine/fruit smell, typical for aronia fruit, without any strange smells. The powder is hygroscopic, soluble in water, alcohols, water/alcohol solutions. Product obtained by spray-drying of purified extracts of aronia melanocarpa fruits. The product contains polyphenolic compounds such as anthocyanins, procyanidines, flavonols and phenolic acids.
