This Japanese clear onion soup is quite popular with citizen as one of healthy vegetable soup. Also it is simple but rich and semisweet tasting. In production of those powder, the onion grown in “Awajishima” is used. “Awajishima” has good landed conditions as bountiful soils and warm climate for growing high quality onions, and it’s high valued in the market through the researchers and the farmers who have worked to develop good quality onions for a long period over the nearly 100 years. It has been called “most sweetness” in Japan.
