coconut oil is obtained from nuts of the CoconutPalm and widely distributed in all tropical countries especially alongthe coast lines. The fibrous outer husks of the nuts are used for themanufacture of mats, brushes, etc.; the soft part adhering to theinside shell is the copra, containing approximately 65% oil, excellent for margarine, shortening, soap and allied purposes. Copra is pressed in expellers.
HYDROGENATED coconut oil 92 and HYDROGENATED COCONUT OIL 110 can also be supplied in Plasticized form; used largely for filled wafers.
